BLT Pasta Salad

Ingredients:
12 ounces corkscrew pasta
1/2 cup milk
12 ounces bacon
3 tomatoes diced
1 tablespoon chopped thyme
1 clove garlic, minced
kosher salt
ground pepper
1/2 cup Mayo
1/4 cup sour cream
4 table spoons chopped chives or scallion
5 heads bibb lettuce quarted or 5 cups chopped romaine

Preparation:
Cook pasta as directed on package, after draining toss with milk in large bowl and set aside.
Cook bacon in skillet till crisp, keep 3 table spoons of bacon fat from in pan and discard the rest. Add tomatoes, thyme and garlic to pan and cook till warm. season with salt and pepper. Crumble bacon into pasta and add tomato mix.
Mix mayo and sour cream and 3 tablespoons chives with pasta. add lettuce and toss again.
Serve at room temp
